About

I'm an interaction designer from Germany with Vietnamese roots, living and loving in Sweden.

I currently work at the interdisciplinary innovation agency above, a talented bunch of designers and engineers that explore the boundaries of IoT, digital products and services and how they might shape our today's and future life. I contribute with a careful eye for details, honesty, team spirit and a strong-minded human-centered approach.

Through the experiences I have made in both the academic and professional design world, I came to realise that, as a designer, I most of all and unconditionally concern about people: their wishes, needs or constraints. And far more than constructing the material world to me design is about forming perceptions, interactions, expectations and reflections - with or through interfaces. My design works are driven by the question of: What’s this? What’s more? What else? And: What if?, by being unorthodox from time to time and challenging people’s conceptions of the existing. Therefore, my strongest tool as an interaction designer is the ability to tell stories that make people understand, believe or rethink.

The private Me is obsessed with the color black and monochrome outfits, in love with handwriting, beautiful books and German bread, and shows enormous dedication to costumes, organising events and surprising my fellows as Secret Santa and Secret Easter Bunny.
